I have to rave about these coffees that I recently picked up from Target. These are from the brand Life is Good. Their line currently has 5 varieties of coffee to choose from. Three of these are normal coffee in a Light, Medium, or Dark Roast. I have not tried these yet because the two flavored coffees are what really caught my eye on the store. These are called Banana Bread Bliss and S'more to Love. How can you resist the temptation of that, really? Hmm, do I pick up the normal coffee or one of these intriguing flavors instead? It was an easy decision for me.
I actually picked up the Banana Bread Bliss one first as the Target I was in when I discovered these was all out of the S'more one. I didn't even know it existed until after trying the Banana Bread Bliss one and being blown away, I googled the brand online to see what other offerings they had. When I saw the S'more one I made a mental note and the next time through Target, I grabbed a bag of it as well.
So, how are these flavors really? I think these are really yummy without that usual fakeness that flavored coffees can sometimes have. The banana bread bliss has a wonderful aroma of fresh baked banana bread. It's almost as if you are eating a slice of banana bread while having your coffee. The S'more to Love flavor is amazing as well. You can smell the marshmallow, chocolate, and graham crackers and the coffee has a richness to it that complements these flavors nicely. You can actually taste S'mores when you are drinking this coffee. It's amazing. I will definitely be rebuying these again as I don't think I'd want to be without them.
I've been brewing them using my personal K cup brewer in our Keurig. I fill the personal K cup basket to the top so I can get maximum flavor. I add milk but do not add sweetener. These coffees have enough flavor on their own, there is no need to add sweetener. I seldom will add sweetener to any of my coffees or teas though so keep that in mind as you may need to customize what you add to your liking.
Let me know if you've picked up either of these and what your thoughts are on them.
