Stila Naturaleyes In the Light Eyeshadow Palette - Pictures and Swatches

I recently went to Ulta and while browsing remembered that I heard great things about the Stila smudge stick liners. I was going to pick one up to try, but they were $20 a piece. Then while browsing the store I ran into a palette that I've taken a look at and played with on a couple of previous visits. This palette retails for $39 and it includes a smudgestick so I thought I'd go this route instead.

It's the Stila In the Light or Naturaleyes palette. This looks to be Stila's version of the Naked palette. The palette is a lot bigger in person than you would be led to believe looking at pictures online. It contains 10 eyeshadows in the following shades:

Bare - Matte Ivory
Kitten - Shimmering Nude Pink
Bliss - Matte Nude/Light Brown
Sunset - Copper Shimmer
Sandstone - Matte Neutral Brown
Champagne - Pale Gold Shimmer
Gilded Gold - Bronze with Gold Shimmer
Luster - Taupe with Bronzy Gold Shimmer
Night Sky - Slate Blue with Silver Shimmer
Ebony - Matte Black

I also like that they give you a small instructional booklet on how to create 6 different looks using the palette. I just wish there was someway to easily store it with the palette, maybe with a sleeve in the side of the lid or base.

Overall, I really like this palette. All of the colors have great pigmentation and I feel you get a good range of both mattes and shimmers. The smudge stick liner glides on effortlessly and is really creamy and smooth. This is a great work appropriate palette and if you are looking for something a bit less expensive that the UD Naked 1 palette, this could fit the bill. The palette retails for $39 and can be found at Ulta or Sephora.
